Welcome to Western Michigan University’s MBA Program in Grand Rapids

WMU began offering an MBA program in Grand Rapids in the early 1960s at the request of West Michigan business leaders who wanted their employees to have access to a locally serviced and nationally recognized MBA program. We responded to those needs by committing the necessary financial, educational and administrative resources to the region. We have offered the MBA program in Grand Rapids ever since, and have continuously strengthened our commitment to the greater Grand Rapids community.

Our program employs full time MBA faculty and advisors living in Grand Rapids who are dedicated to graduate business education, actively engaged in international research and involved in the community. A number of full time graduate faculty members from WMU’s Kalamazoo campus also teach in Grand Rapids. We now have two graduate campuses in Grand Rapids.

Our focus in Grand Rapids is on graduate business education for the busy, mature working professional. You can complete your entire program in Grand Rapids in 18 months, though most Grand Rapids students take 3 to 4 years to complete the program. Please take time to learn more about our program.
