Sales and Business Marketing Major (SBMJ)

Other Requirements:

It is strongly recommended that students considering employment in technology or manufacturing-related industries complete one or more of the following courses:

  • IME 1420 Engineering Graphics (elective)
  • IME 1500 Introduction to Manufacturing (Gen Ed Distribution Area 7) or
  • ME 2200 Processes and Materials in Manufacturing (Distribution Area 7)
For students with catalog years of 1998 or later, the Advanced Economics requirement may be satisfied through completion of any 3000-level or 4000-level economics course offered at Western Michigan University. Students with earlier catalog years should consult with the faculty advisor or the department chair.
