Goals for Business Students By Class Level

Freshmen | Sophomores | Juniors | Seniors

Freshmen: PBA Guide

  • Meet with an academic advisor each semester to outline your courses for upcoming enrollments.
  • Follow Pre-business curriculum outline to prepare for application to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) upper level courses in your sophomore year.

Sophomores: Apply to BBA

  • Apply to the BBA Program during September if finishing PBA core courses in the Fall semester. Apply in January if finishing PBA core courses in the Spring, Summer I or Summer II semester.
  • Application to the BBA program requires that you meet with an academic advisor to complete the application.

Juniors: Curriculum Guide & Major Slip

  • Once you have been admitted to the BBA program, you should get your Curriculum Guide from an academic advisor during your first enrollment in the BBA courses.
  • You will take your completed curriculum guide to a faculty advisor in the department in which you wish to declare a major and/or minor. Your faculty advisor will complete a major/minor slip for you for your chosen major (s).
  • Retain your copy of the major slip for your records
  • Your faculty advisor will forward a copy of the major slip to the Advising Office where it will be available when you do your graduation audit.

Seniors: Graduation Audit

  • Make an appointment to do your graduation audit with an academic advisor one year prior to graduation.
  • You must have completed your curriculum guide and obtained your major/minor slip(s) to complete a graduation audit.
  • University deadlines for graduation audits include the following:

  • You are responsible for turning your graduation audit application in to the Registrar’s Office.  The graduation application fee may be applied to your student account.
